My Picks

Here I'll take opinions about an issue, object, or practice and defend my point. Random fools and you will be able to suggest items for opinionation someday. I assume email would be the preferred method.

Statues: Chopped.

They might be cool as little statuettes or something, but as life-size or larger-than-life sculptures, they're just like plastic food; they look like they'd be great but you really can't do anything with 'em. In the very rare case it insn't explicitly disallowed, it's surely frowned upon to do anything but look at statues.

Gravity: Propped.

Climbing would be near-impossible without it, and a lot of body systems get screwed up like that too. Also, without any gravity whatsoever, the universe wouldn't have become concentrated into galaxies, stars, or planets and none of us would be here. Another interesting tidbit on gravity is that the earth is actually falling into the sun, as are the other bodies orbiting it. This is due to the fact that earth emits gravitational waves and loses some energy in doing so, moving to a lower orbit sorta like an electron emitting a photon. Gravity FTW

Beartato: Propped.

Bear + Potato = Beartato! This is a great webcomic. The humor and expressions are absolutely perfect and it isn't popular enough to be terribly cliche'd. Excuse my lack of accent.

Trees: Propped

Trees are so much awesome it's insane. They provide a bunch of oxygen and prevent soil runoff, and many also give juicy, delicious fruit. Climbing is a whole 'nother barrel of monkeys. Pwnage @ nature right here.
